Press Statement stormed onto the racing scene via an impressive maiden campaign earlier this year, and has been included in nominations for a racing return in the 2015 Run To The Rose.

Yet to taste anything but success through three competitive starts, Press Statement debuted for a comfortable win in the TAB Place Multi Plate (1100m) on April 29th; progressing to success in a Rosehill minor over 1350m before taking out the Group 1 JJ Atkins (1600m) at Doomben on June 6th.

Trainer Chris Waller is set to launch a serious two-pronged attack on the 2015 Run To The Rose after also including Japonisme in nominations.

Returning this time for consecutive wins in a pair of minor Sydney sprints, the Choisir gelding posted an impressive four length win in the Tradie Magazine BM72 (1100m) before making a successful transition to black type racing in the Group 3 San Domenico Stakes (1100m) a fortnight ago; delivering Golden Slipper winner Vancouver a maiden race defeat in the process.

John O’Shea and Godolphin Australia are spoiled for choice with their crop of talented three-year-olds currently in work, and are set to be offered two good chances for success in the Run To The Rose after Exosphere and Holler.

Failing to beat a single runner home in his racing debut in November, Exosphere returned this year for first-up success in the Valentines Day Maiden Plate (1000m); progressing to an impressive win in the Group 2 Skyline Stakes (1200m) a fortnight later.

While failing to figure in the Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m) last time out, the Lonhro colt has reportedly taken huge benefit from his time away from racing and will be partnered by leading hoop James McDonald on Saturday.

Holler is yet to contest a black type event, but has posted one win and a minor through his two competitive starts so far.

Trainer Ciaron Maher has a big opinion of three-year-old Brockhoff, and has included the colt in 2015 Run To The Rose nominations.

Beating only one runner home in the Group 3 Chairman’s Stakes (1000m) on debut in February, Brockhoff returned this time for a commanding two length win in the Team Staffing Maiden Plate (1000m) on August 18th.

The 2015 Run To The Rose final field and barrier draw is due to be completed and released by midday, Wednesday.
